Control Components
DLR series of super capacitors from Illinois Capacitor offers capacitance values to 220 Farads. Custom packs combine multiple capacitors for combinations of higher voltages ratings or capacitance. Series includes 14 values ranging in capacitance from 4 to 220 Farads with voltage ratings from 2 to 2.5 WV dc (working volts dc). Operating temperature ranges from -20 to 70 °C. Applications include battery replacements or supplements, UPS systems, emergency lighting, solar lighting, and battery pack alternatives. Super capacitors do not degrade with each cycle. At 2.5 V, DLR life is rated at 500,000 cycles at less than 30% of initial value. All are radial leaded with case diameters of 10, 12.5, 16, and 18 mm. Parts are RoHS compliant. www.illcap.com
