Designed for small distribution panels, the ZoneDefender2 from MTL Surge Technologies delivers economical, high capacity protection for single-phase applications where size is critical. The ZoneDefender2 provides ac and dc power surge protection with application flexibility due to a compact design. It provides protection for line to neutral, line to ground, line to line, and neutral to ground applications. The protection circuits are dual-redundant varistor networks using metal oxide varistor (MOV) technology. The product is fully automatic, immediately clamping voltage surges without causing undue leakage losses during normal operation. Features include ac or dc application, simple installation, thermal and short circuit fusing, UL 1449 listing, and a 10-year product warranty.
