Syclo expands marketing program with IBM
Building on its long relationship with MRO Software, Hoffman Estates, IL-based Syclo has updated and expanded its marketing alliance with IBM, which purchased MRO Software. Syclo’s relationship with MRO Software has been built around Syclo’s mobile solutions for the Maximo suite of products, and the new terms of the alliance are expected to expand that relationship.

Building on its long relationship with MRO Software, Hoffman Estates, IL-based Syclo has updated and expanded its marketing alliance with IBM, which purchased MRO Software. Syclo’s relationship with MRO Software has been built around Syclo’s mobile solutions for the Maximo suite of products, and the new terms of the alliance are expected to expand that relationship.
The Maximo Mobile SE, has been renamed SMART Suite For Maximo. Syclo mobile software can be pre-integrated to Maximo versions 4, 5 and 6 (plus 7 and beyond when available). IBM will be a reseller, and current and prospective Maximo users can purchase Syclo SMART for Maximo products from IBM. Syclo will provide both installation services and support. Company officials said this gives Syclo the opportunity to maintain a closer relationships with their customer base.
