Houston, TX – Control Dynamics International (CDI) announced a strategic alliance with

Weidmuller

through its System Integration (SI) Program.

Weidmuller provides solutions for the transmission of power, signals and data in industrial environments. The company develops, produces and sells electromechanical connection technology, switching cabinet electronics, and network infrastructure components. CDI designs, manufactures, and implements industrial automation systems for the energy industry. CDI and Weidmuller seek to increase their already strong presence in the U.S. energy markets through this alliance.

Randy Bagley, Weidmuller Houston regional sales manager, says, “We seek SI partners that have proven capabilities and offer total solutions that include engineering and manufacturing. The strong presence of CDI in the energy business, their oil and gas domain expertise, and ability to provide both engineering and manufacturing services makes them an excellent candidate for the Weidmuller SI program.”

Van Wilson, CDI president, says “Weidmuller possesses the breadth of high quality, reliable connection products required for the energy industry. Their technology complements the CDI ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance process, while providing us a greater selection of equipment options. Our participation in the Weidmuller SI program is a win for both companies and our respective customers.”

Francis Leynaert, owner of Texas Technical Products and the Houston area representative for Weidmuller, helped arrange the agreement, announced Feb. 25.
