System integrator Maverick Technologies buys Program4 Engineering, continues growth

Industrial automation and advanced manufacturing system integrator expands food and beverage, confectionery, pharmaceutical services.

Maverick Technologies says it is the largest independent systems integrator in North America and is a leader in the global marketplace. The acquisition of Program4 Engineering is the most recent of several Maverick strategic initiatives and partnerships. The integrator offers a live chat function, below.

Columbia, IL – Maverick Technologies, a global engineering, systems integration, and operational consulting firm, has announced it has acquired the assets of Program4 Engineering, a regional provider of manufacturing automation and plant process information systems solutions. The acquisition will provide immediate opportunities for growth in the food and beverage, confectionery, and pharmaceutical industries, focused in the Mid-Atlantic and northeastern United States. April 14, Maverick announced purchase of Mission Controls .
Capabilities and expertise that Program4 Engineering brings adds value for existing and new customers, says Paul J. Galeski, P.E., CAP, Maverick 's CEO and founder. “We share similar corporate cultures and are confident that these talented individuals will embrace our proactive approach and reinforce Maverick's commitment to helping our partners break away from the limitations and constraints that hinder their productivity and profitability.”
Walt Cholawsky, P.E., former CEO and founder of Program4 Engineering, now Maverick Technologies' business development manager for the Northeast division, is enthusiastic about becoming part of a world-class automation engineering company. “I am not selling out, I am buying in — to the Maverick strategy. We look forward to joining a global network of professionals with the ability to handle any challenge in the design and engineering of automated manufacturing solutions,” said Cholawsky. “It will give our existing clients and employees the ability to aggressively pursue new initiatives and draw upon an expanded pool of high-quality resources and services.”
