Taking the show on the road: Rockwell marks 100th manufacturing event

The Rockwell Automation Complete Automation on the Move show (CAOTM) celebrated a milestone in Las Vegas recently by marking its 100th show in the United States.


Milwaukee, WI —The Rockwell Automation Complete Automation on the Move show (CAOTM) celebrated a milestone in Las Vegas recently by marking its 100th show in the United States. The educational event, which features hands-on labs, technical sessions, partner exhibits, and a showcase of Rockwell Automation products and services, has attracted tens of thousands of automation professionals since its inception in 2001.

According to the company, CAOTM is the world's largest traveling manufacturing educational event, attracting hundreds of automation professionals at every stop. The shows have been presented in nearly 30 cities throughout the country, but the event also has traveled throughout the world, even presenting in a Trinidad open-air rainforest.

As many as 102 of the company’s Encompass Partners and Solution Providers have been involved in the event since its beginning. At the first 100 CAOTM events, Rockwell Automation provided free education for more than 37,500 attendees to help them do their jobs better. The traveling manufacturing event began as a company initiative to bring the experience of its Automation Fair [http://www.automationfair.com] event to automation professionals throughout the country.

Upcoming shows include presentations in Bismarck, ND, in July and Columbus, OH, in August.
