T5350 temperature transmitter from Wika is FOUNDATION fieldbus-compliant, and is certified by the Fieldbus Foundation’s Interoperability Test Kit (ITK) 4.51. The transmitter also has the capabilities of a link-active scheduler (LAS) and PID controller, which allow autarkic control functions to be performed in the field. Likewise, T5350 also is certified as compliant with Profibus PA, Profile 3.

In addition, all standard temperature sensors, such as Pt100 resistance sensors or thermocouples, can be connected to the input. Also, resistance and mV-measurements with user-specific linearization or difference, average, or redundancy measurement is also possible. Due to its compact size, the transmitter can be mounted in any DIN B connection head.

Wika adds that T5350 is also ideal for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Ex-approvals according to ATEX are available, and the transmitter also meets the FISCO and FNICO requirements. www.wika.de
