American Industrial Systems’ three series of touch panel PCs are designed for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) market. The Premium, Standard, and Value lines are designed to solve control and monitoring requirements for IIoT, Industry 4.0 and M2M applications. They are also suited for open and standard interfaces in hardware & software for HMI, SCADA, and MES applications. The PC-based automation uses Ethernet and TCP/IP for HMI/SCADA and IT/OT integration. They also have a web-enabled HMI with HTML5-compliant web browsers for improved real-time decision making. The touch panel PCs also have expandable HMI solutions with multiple configurations and options for fast project engineering.

The Premium Series feature complete system modularity. This includes a detachable box PC, touchscreen, removable dual solid state drives, and power supply. The system is available with a wide selection of single and multi-touch displays ranging from 15- to 21.5- in., which allows users to change displays to suit their specific needs. Its modularity also means future-proofing is built-in, which allows customers to easily modify, change or upgrade their systems depending on future specifications and requirements.

The Standard Series is designed to deliver visualization, control, and monitoring capabilities to support IIoT applications,as well as basic M2M infrastructure necessary to integrate more intelligence into processes and control systems. The Standard Series HMIs has 1 x 180 GB SSD for mass storage and additional 32 GB m-SATA SSD for secondary storage. The Standard series is also available in six different touchscreen sizes ranging from 12.1- to 21.5-in. in 16:9 and 4:3 formats.

The Value Line Series is an integrated “all-in-one” solution that has lower power consumption and a simpler interface while offering the same HMI functionality as the Premium and Standard series. It features an all-aluminum construction and is designed for for OEM/ODM machinery and equipment. The Value line is suitable for M2M communications and use in a wide variety of rugged conditions in process and discrete industries.
