Highly transmissive circular polarizer touch panels deliver high levels of visibility through the sputtering of an indium tin oxide (ITO) low-reflective layer. Process isolates incoming light rays and converts them into circular polarized light, which is then transformed into vertically linear polarized light that cannot pass through the panel. Applications include rugged notebook computers and handheld devices used in emergency vehicles and military and commercial aircraft. However, any type of film-glass or film-film LCD can use a circular polarizer touch panel. Touch panels meet demands for enhanced readability and transmissivity for use in direct sunlight and high-reflection environments. Sub-strates allow as much as 76% transmissivity.
