The DCV series of DC to DC linear variable different transformer (LVDT) series of transducers from RDP Electrosense offers 0 to 10 V output that is electrically isolated from the input to avoid power supply selection and grounding issues. The DCV units operate from +14 to +26 V dc. They are available in measuring ranges from 0.2-in. (5 mm) up to 37-in. (940 mm). They operate on the LVDT sensor’s principle, which means there is no electrical contact across the transducer position sensing element. The DCV series is designed for a variety of applications such as specialty machines, industrial, control systems, material testing, civil/structural engineering, and general purpose testing instrumentation.
