Type 900X current-to-pressure and voltage-to-pressure transducer from ControlAir Inc. now comes with zero-based units ranging from 0-7.5 psi to 0-60 psi outputs. FM and CSA approved as intrinsically safe, the device is also compliant with ATEX directive 94/9/EC for equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in Europe. It uses an internal control and feedback system for accurate conversion of an electrical signal to a linear proportional output pressure. It is available in port sizes of 1/4 NPT (pneumatic) and 1/2 NPT (electric). Applications include outdoor and washdown environments, valve actuation, pneumatic valve positions, cylinders, clutches, brakes, dampers, pumps, and flow and speed control.
