Exemys, a company providing connectivity products for monitoring, acquisition and industrial control, offers a way to transform old sensors to smart devices. Exemys RME device translates RS-232 communications (4-20 mA or 0-10 V) into five means of communication via the Internet, according to application needs.

The five protocol outputs are Modbus TCP, widely used in industrial automation, SNMP used in IT systems, HTML for Web browsers, XML used by programmers in a variety of applications, and CSV for Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

 

The Exemys RME device:
- Provides connectivity to passive sensors;
- Allows remote information access;
- Is flexible porting to five protocols on one device;
- Has 8 inputs channels, isolated and differentials;
- Has versions for 4-20 mA, 0-10v, PT100, and thermocouple;
- Is simple to setup and use;
- Offers DIN-rail mounting;
- Uses supply power of 10 V dc to 30 V dc;
- Includes one serial port for configuration and one communication Ethernet port.
