Transmitter with batch controller capabilities
The Signet 9900 Transmitter by GF Piping Systems has a batch controller system that helps consolidate multiple platforms and parameters for diverse use.
GF Piping Systems’ second generation Signet 9900 Transmitter features a Batch Controller option and supports multiple parameters that include flow, pH/ORP, Conductivity/Resistivity, Salinity, Temperature, Pressure, Level, and 4 to 20 mA Signals, and now also Batch Systems. Users can convert their second generation 9900 Transmitter to a Batch Controller System by plugging in the new Batch Module and Relay Module, which helps consolidate multiple platforms into one.
The complete 9900-1BC Batch Controller system includes a 9900 Transmitter (Generation II), a Batch Module and Relay Module for a factory configured solution. New capabilities include the ability to save up to 10 batch sizes for batching or blending a variety of liquid volumes, customizable batch names for easy distinction between batches, entry of different K-Factors for each batch, a confirmation feature for preventing accidental batch starts, a manual Batch feature for ‘topping off’, an override Batch Size function and a Batch Count indicator.
The 9900 features an auto-sensing backlit display that allows visibility at 4-5 times the distance of other transmitters. The display shows separate lines for units, main and secondary measurements as well as a dial-type digital bar graph. Output accuracy is ±32 μA maximum error at 25ºC at 24 VDC with resolution of 6 μA or better. Other capabilities include relay and warning LEDs and an intuitive menu for easy programming. Standards and approvals include NEMA 4X/IP65, CE, UL, CUL, RoHS and China RoHS.
