LabSoft LIMS version 7.14 enhances data management with representative averaging and automatic trend notification features. Representative averaging feature lets users select the most meaningful data when calculating an average for multiple test values of a given sample or “grab.” Representative data provide ability to calculate and monitor verification and sample data. Trend notification is an automatic service that runs a control chart to determine if data are trending normally or out of specification. Notices and e-mails can be generated based on the control chart analysis.
