Trio allows busless PC-based control

PC-based control without the usual bus is possible using ActiveX software from Trio Motion Technology via USB. This ActiveX component is used with the company's USB daughter board, which allows designers to execute commands in Trio motion controllers just as if relevant programming functions were resident in the PC.

PC-based control without the usual bus is possible using ActiveX software from Trio Motion Technology via USB. This ActiveX component is used with the company's USB daughter board, which allows designers to execute commands in Trio motion controllers just as if relevant programming functions were resident in the PC. Trio's USB communication card eliminates breakout ribbon cables and terminal blocks. Designers may work in their chosen software environment, including Visual C, Visual Basic and Delphi.

The MC216 model allows control of 1-16 axes, and can run up to 15 control programs simultaneously, while the MC204 version offers control of 1-4 axes, and can run five control programs simultaneously. The MC Euro205 provides 4-axis control in one 3U Eurocard and is primarily intended for larger OEM applications.
