Austin, Tex. — Single-user interfacing enables operators to control two screens from a single keyboard and mouse with DeltaV’s dual monitor workstation. With two monitors, operators do not have to shrink or minimize windows. One screen can be dedicated to a process overview, monitoring of historical data, or other applications, while more traditional operator activities occur on the second screen. Rearranging screen content is as easy as dragging-and-dropping windows between screens. Users can set up the dual monitors to behave in a variety of ways, including location of alarm banners, pop-up faceplates, and alarm summary displays. Fisher-Rosemount Systems
