Ultra-compact sensors: Gage and differential pressure in small package

Analog output allows for smaller transmitter profile.

The new GC51 and GC52 gauge and differential pressure transmitters from Ashcroft offer an economical choice for analog output in cramped quarters.

If you don’t need a digital communication protocol, this design features an ultra-compact NEMA 4X/IP65 enclosure measuring only 2.65 in. in diameter. Stainless steel wetted parts accommodate either wet or dry media. The GC51 is available in ranges up to 0-7500 psig (517 bar) and the GC52 offers differential pressure ranges up to 400 in. of water (1 bar). A built-in LED display and a 4-20 mA output provide both local indication and remote signaling. The company says GC series transmitters are ideal for measuring fluid levels in tanks, water towers and across differential pressures membranes in water purification systems. Media isolators are available for sludge or caustic media installations.
