LF200S series 2W dc/dc converters from MicroPower Direct come in an ultra-miniature SMT case. Said to provide a combination of power, performance, and miniature SMT packaging at low cost, the family consists of six models that operate from 5 V dc, 12 V dc, and 24 V dc inputs, providing single outputs of 5 or 12 V dc. Efficiency to 82%, an input/output isolation of 1,000 V dc, and low noise operation are standard. MTBF is more than 2.0 Mhours. All models are RoHS compliant. Operating temperature range is -40 to 85 °C with no de-rating or heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection.
