ULVAC and York Refrigeration Systems Deploy Autodesk

Autodesk announced two major implementations of its software:

rk International Corp.’s Refrigeration Systems Division of North America has deployed Autodesk Inventor together with Autodesk Vault, Autodesk Productstream and AutoCAD Electrical.

ULVAC plans a full-scale rollout of company-wide 3D design work beginning in March 2006. ULVAC had been conducting its design work using 2D CAD software, but the company was interested in an organization-wide migration to 3D CAD to reduce the element of human error in design drafting. AIP integrates of current 2D drawings into a 3D design environment.

ULVAC decision to implement AIP company-wide, means thatnot only will AIP be used in its design departments, but also in departments such as sales engineering.

York, a supplier of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, will implement Autodesk applications to create, manage, and share complex industrial refrigeration equipment designs faster and more efficiently, streamlining the design to manufacture process through the integration and use of both 2D and 3D design applications.
