Motion Industries, along with Baldor and U.S. Motors, have launched TheMotorSpecialist.com. The site assists industrial users in understanding the impact and upgrade requirements of the 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA), which went into effect December 19, 2010.

Motion Industries, Baldor and U.S. Motors recognized the need to provide customers with guidance on how the new EISA legislation affects future motor selection and supports energy efficiency initiatives.  Transition to EISA-compliant Premium Efficiency Motors has resulted in a variety of questions among industry professionals. Motion Industries, Baldor and U.S. Motors created TheMotorSpecialist.com to provide the industry with a resource to assess the new legislation’s impact on industrial users.

TheMotorSpecialist.com provides tools to evaluate savings, rebates and efficiency, to assist users in finding out if their current motors are EISA-compliant, and in evaluating the real costs of repairs when considering their motor upgrades. All information is designed to support facility managers and purchasing agents in industrial motor upgrade decisions.
