University access: Deacom offers on ERP training

10/27/2008

Deacom , provider of the DEACOM Integrated Accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software System for building component, modular building, and batch process manufacturers, now has an online version of its business software training program, called DEACOM University. Using the Web-based platform, DEACOM University will reintroduce its live group courses, beginning with DEACOM Financial Statements on Nov. 19-20.

DEACOM University Online was developed to incorporate quality ERP software training in a convenient delivery method. During the first day, participants are taught functionality concepts in a webinar format from an experienced instructor. Day two focuses on application of course concepts through a hands-on lab, in which participants work with actual company data. The online format allows the instructor to conduct private breakout sessions with each participant, thus supporting the secure exchange of proprietary information.

Upcoming DEACOM University Online courses will include DEACOM Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) on Dec. 10-11, followed by monthly classroom and online courses on specialized DEACOM functions throughout 2009. Both classroom and online programs of DEACOM University are accredited by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
