ControlSoft’s PID Loop Tuning Pocket Guide was created in 2002, and is now available in its 4th edition. The company says this concise guide to tuning PID loops has been very well received in all sorts of process industries. The new edition includes tuning instructions for cascade loops and an expanded reference section on common controllers.

ControlSoft is known for its two software products, InTune and Mantra, which are PC-based and work with existing control systems. InTune supports process control monitoring, tuning, online diagnostics, and automatically reports poor performance. Mantra is for advanced process control systems, and uses model predictive techniques to improve profitability and product quality.

The 12-page loop tuning guide can easily fit into a jacket or jeans pocket for handy on-the-job access. Request your free copy at the ControlSoft Website.
