Updated software provides tools for data acquisition, enhanced signal processing
Data Translation VIBpoint Framework Application V2.0 is designed to replace more expensive FFT Analyzer instruments and to enhance signal processing, analysis features and display.
Data Translation Inc. announced release of the VIBpoint Framework Application V2.0. The new version of the software provides tools for data acquisition, enhanced signal processing and analysis features, and display. The VIBpoint Framework Application, combined with DT data acquisition (DAQ) devices, is designed to replace more expensive FFT Analyzer instruments at a much lower cost.
The software is navigated through a series of easy-to-use configuration windows, allowing flexible selection of the desired acquisition, processing, plotting and display parameters. New enhanced features to support Impact Test and Modal Analysis applications include:
- Perform a single FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) operation on the acquired data, including: Spectrum, Auto Spectrum, and Power Spectral Density
- Perform two-channel FFT operations, including: Frequency Response Functions (Inertance, Mobility, Compliance, Apparent Mass, Impedance, Dynamic Stiffness or Custom/User defined using H1, H2, or H3 Estimator types), Cross-Spectrum, Cross Power Spectral Density, Coherence, and Coherent Output Power
- Display processed data as Amplitude, Phase or Nyquist plot
