UPS network module
The HP UPS network module is designed to remotely monitor, diagnose, and manage UPS systems.
The HP UPS Network Module enables small-, medium-, and enterprise-sized businesses to remotely monitor, diagnose, and manage uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and attached devices. The HP UPS Network Module supports either a single UPS configuration or provides additional power protection with support for dual, redundant UPS configuration, facilitating a no-single-point-of-failure environment. The network module can be set up to send e-mail notifications or alert traps to any SNMP management program, or be used as a stand-alone management system. This flexibility enables IT and facilities managers to monitor and control UPSs through the network. To facilitate day-to-day maintenance tasks and power analysis, the embedded management software provides detailed system logs. It is also ideal for customers who need to perform scheduled shutdowns of attached equipment.
