USB 3.0 machine vision cameras, 10x data rate of USB 2.0, are at The Vision Show

IDS Imaging Development Systems will be highlighting for the first time in North America its uEye 3.0 USB CP camera line at The Vision Show in Boston, MA, May 8-10, 2012.

"Not only does The Vision Show give IDS the industry's full attention for this game-changing camera line, but it also provides an important opportunity to meet with current and potential customers to show them firsthand the advantages of USB 3.0." 

IDS USB 3.0 uEye CP cameras are among the world's first to feature the breakthrough USB 3.0 standard. USB 3.0 delivers a staggering 10-fold increase in data rate compared to USB 2.0, as well as a four-fold increase over GigE, making these new IDS cameras ideal for demanding multi-camera systems and 3D applications. Amazingly compact at only 29 x 29 x 29 mm and weighing a mere 46 grams, the cameras are also perfect for any vision applications where space is at a premium. Depending on applications requirements, customers can choose from either e2v or Aptina CMOS sensors ranging from VGA to 5-megapixel resolution.
