USB-1408FS analog input module features 14 bits of resolution, factory calibration, and 10 times the accuracy of the USB-1208FS 12-bit model. Device provides 8 single-ended or 4 differential analog inputs, 14-bit resolution in differential mode, 13-bit resolution in single-ended mode, 8 software selectable input ranges, with sample rates up to 48 kilosamples per second. Unit also has two channels of 12-bit analog output, a 32-bit counter, and 16 bits of digital I/O points. It is compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0 and is supported by Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP operating systems. Module is large enough that field wiring is easy, yet small enough to fit on a crowded workbench. Device ships with three software packages: InstaCal for setup and data retrieval; TracerDAQ strip chart recorder, oscilloscope, and data logging application; and Universal Library and UL for National Instruments LabView language interfaces for programming.
