Seattle — Microsoft Corp. and PASS , the Professional Association for SQL Server, will hold its 2006 Community Summit Nov. 14-17 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle, WA. Considered the largest SQL Server-only conference in the world, the educational event and exhibit will gather more than 200 Microsoft product managers, developers, testers and members of the support team to attend the user-led sessions.

“We’re driving hard to make this Community Summit the year’s premier educational event and one where the true paybacks from PASS as a user group, listening, sharing, learning and advocating technology improvements, will take center stage,” says Bill Graziano, Director of Program Development at PASS.

Database administrators, system architects and developers who use SQL Server can hear product experts, sit in on technical sessions and participate in networking opportunities. Sessions cover advanced recovery techniques, database maintenance, using new features in SQL Server 2005 to maximize performance and more. Users can pre-register online and learn of travel and hotel discounts. Early bird conference registration rates are effective through Oct. 31, 2006.
