Charlottesville, VAGE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms , a unit of GE Enterprise Solutions, has launched a new module for its VersaMax Micro controller that offers productivity and flexibility in a cost-effective solution. The VersaMax Micro Thermocouple (Type K, J, E, S, T, B, or N)/Millivolt (-/+ 50 mV or 100 mV) Expansion module can be used in a range of temperature monitoring, controlling, and weighing applications.
VersaMax Micro and its accompanying modules provide a solution in discrete and process applications. The Thermocouple/Millivolt expansion module expands the process capability of the product.
There are two module types available, four thermocouple inputs and two analog outputs expansion module and four thermocouple inputs and no analog outputs module. The new modules can be used with the QuickPanel control as a low-cost I/O product.
Applications include packaging and assembly requiring temperature control for sealing products, oven control, product curing, PID control, weighing product in food packaging, and process control.
