Vision system for color applications

The In-Sight 7010C by Cognex features a 24-bit color resolution that can identify 16 million color variations distinguish parts by color and features IP67-rated housing and autofocus technology as well as integrated lighting options.

Cognex Corporation’s (NASDAQ: CGNX) In-Sight 7010C is an entry-level color vision system that can distinguish parts by color. The system features 24-bit color resolution that accurately identifies 16 million color variations. It is designed for use in the automotive, food and beverage, electronic, and pharmaceutical industries.

Along with the In-Sight 7010C, Cognex is introducing three additional color models, the In-Sight 7200C, 7400C and 7402C. These systems solve more complex applications involving logic or color composition, as well as those requiring higher resolution or faster execution.

Other features include a compact, IP67-rated housing and strong factory communications capabilities. The In-Sight 7000 also features autofocus technology and integrated lighting options.
