International infrastructure and environmental services consultancy Cardno Limited (Brisbane, Australia) signed an agreement to acquire Haynes Whaley Associates (Houston, TX), a 100-person structural engineering firm for up to US$22.5 million. The firm will operate as Cardno Haynes Whaley, Inc. moving forward. Link to details



Full service architectural and civil engineering consulting firm Ackerman-Estvold (Minot, ND) has merged with AmeriTech Engineering Corporation (Williston, ND) and ABC Building Concepts (Williston, ND). AmeriTech Engineering Corporation is a full service civil engineering firm and provides professional planning, design, and construction services. Global design, engineering and project management consultancy Atkins (Epsom, Surrey, UK) has acquired Confluence Project Management (Singapore). Confluence is a 200-person international consultancy offering services in the areas of project,construction management, and specialist programming and planning. Link to details


International ground engineering specialist Keller (London, UK) agreed to acquire the geotechnical division of civil engineering and construction company Esorfranki Limited (Dunswart, South Africa). Esorfranki Geotechnical is the largest ground engineering business in South Africa, offering design and build services to the mining, civil engineering and construction industries. Link to details
