This week Morrissey Goodale reported three deals in the United States and four international deals involving companies from the U.S., Australia, UK, and Canada.

Tetra Tech (Pasadena, CA) (ENR #7) has announced the execution of an agreement to acquire Coffey International (Chatswood, Australia), a 3,300-person international development, geoservices, and project management firm. Tetra Tech will make an off-market takeover offer to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of Coffey for A$0.425 cash per share. Link to details

Leading quality solutions provider, Intertek Group (London, UK) entered into an agreement to acquire Professional Service Industries (Oakbrook Terrace, IL) (ENR #53), a leading provider of testing and assurance services to commercial and civil construction markets. Link to details

Provider of comprehensive native habitat restoration construction services, Habitat Restoration Sciences (Carlsbad, CA) acquired Restoration Resources (Rocklin, CA), a design/build landscape and general engineering contractor that specializes in wetland and wildlife habitat mitigation and restoration. Clough Limited (West Perth, Australia) acquired Enercore Projects Limited (Calgary, Canada), a privately owned engineering services company. Clough Enercore will provide engineering, procurement, and construction solutions for Canadian greenfield and brownfield oil and gas projects. Link to details

KBR (Houston, TX) finalized two partnerships with Bernhard Capital Partners (Baton Rouge, LA). One partnership is with Brown & Root Industrial Services (Baton Rouge, LA), under which all of KBR’s U.S. and Canadian industrial services and on-call construction is now operating. Under the other partnership, all of KBR’s Canadian pipe fabrication business has become Falcon Fabricators and Modular Builders (Baton Rouge, LA). Link to details

Geotechnical engineering, testing, and environmental consulting firm, Braun Intertec (Minneapolis, MN) (ENR #111) acquired Apex Geoscience (Tyler, TX). Cion Corp. (Toronto, Canada), an Ingenium Group company that provides technical services tailored to the property and facilities management industry, acquired Coulter Building Consultants (Burlington, Canada).
