The RAD-802.11XD from Phoenix Contact is a first of its kind WiFi device with advanced security features designed specifically for industry. The 802.11 a/b/g industrial radios feature 802.11i/WPA2 security with AES-CCMP encryption and 802.1x authentication for the highest level of security available. Advances include integrated serial port and device server functions for connecting legacy serial devices. The DIN rail variant can have addressable and expandable I/O, meaning remote I/O can be easily brought onto the network wirelessly. It provides wireless network connections, supports legacy serial devices, and can address add-on I/O connections, and support common protocols. www.phoenixcon.com
