Advantech's EKI-1361 and EKI-1362 wireless device servers are designed for use in areas where signal strength and reliability may be affected and use MIMO 2x2 technology to transmit two signals simultaneously. Courtesy: AdvantechAdvantech's EKI-1361 and EKI-1362 wireless device servers are one and two port RS-232/422/485 to IEEE 802.11 b/g/n WLAN serial device servers that have been designed for use in areas where signal strength and reliability may be affected. To counteract these issues, they use MIMO 2x2 technology which transmits two signals simultaneously which ensures greater efficiency by ensuring they are not jammed by other devices.

Their fast roaming design allows the switches to quickly switch to a new access point without degrading the data. In industries where the models are fixed, they can have a peer-to-peer connection without using wireless access points.
