connectBlue offers two wireless local area network (LAN) serial port adapters that enable cable replacement in industrial applications such as programming, configuration, service, diagnostics, and data acquisition. The adapters feature robust housings for harsh industrial environments where existing devices are to be connected into a LAN infrastructure. Options include IP65 housings which are dust-, water-, and heat-resistant metallic models for tough industrial conditions; and IP20 housings, which are lighter, lower-priced plastic models for less demanding environments. According to the company, the connectBlue serial port adapter line is now complete with four Bluetooth and WLAN serial port adapters and the recently launched WLAN and Bluetooth USB serial www.connectblue.com connectBlue
