Lake Forest, CAWonderware , an operating unit of Invensys plc, has introduced DT Analyst version 2.0. The product supports production efficiency initiatives by equipping teams with accurate, detailed information on plant production, equipment availability, and the reasons behind availability losses.

It now supports near real-time overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) calculations. OEE, a widely used metric of efficiency, is commonly used to compare the performance of plants, lines, and even production teams. OEE combines product quality, equipment availability, and performance into a single, straightforward metric. While traditional daily or shift-based OEE initiatives provide a basis for comparison, DT Analyst with its near real-time calculations provides the detailed information needed to pinpoint the reasons behind efficiency differences.
