Woodhead updates SST AS-I scanner for A-B SLC 500 controllers

Woodhead Industries Inc. has released a new version of its SST AS-Interface scanner for Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley SLC 500 Series controllers, under part number SST-ASI-SLC.


Woodhead Industries Inc . has released a new version of its SST AS-Interface scanner for Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley SLC 500 Series controllers, under part number SST-ASI-SLC. This SST AS-Interface scanner connects an A-B SLC 500 series PLC to two independent AS-Interface networks with up to 124 slave devices. The release complies with AS-Interface specification 2.1. The company adds that it provides a complete line of AS-Interface connectivity solutions through its gateways, PLC interface modules, physical media, and I/O modules.

Woodhead develops, manufactures and markets network and electrical infrastructure products engineered for performance in harsh, demanding, and hazardous industrial environments. Woodhead’s brands include Brad Harrison, BradPower, BradControl, SST, Daniel Woodhead, mPm, applicom, Aero-Motive, and RJ-Lnxx.
