Workshop covers machine vision for robotics

Automated Imaging Association (AIA) is putting on what it calls the ''the first-ever Machine Vision for Robot Guidance Workshop,'' Oct. 8-9, at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel in Novi, Michigan. Purpose is to ''increase throughput, improve quality, reduce costs, and develop process improvements in your robotic applications.''

Automated Imaging Association (AIA) is putting on what it calls the ”the first-ever Machine Vision for Robot Guidance Workshop,” Oct. 8-9, at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel in Novi, Michigan. Purpose is to ”increase throughput, improve quality, reduce costs, and develop process improvements in your robotic applications.”

Agenda includes fundamentals of machine vision, lighting and optics, 2D and 3D for vision-guided robots, case studies, vision-guided robotics, and tabletop exhibits.
