The UNO-2053E is an X86-grade platform that offers dual LAN, dual USB, PC card interface and two RS-232 communication ports. Starting at $600, the UNO-2053E can be provided with Windows CE which is pre-configured and optimized for on-board device drivers.Microsoft Windows CE is a compact, highly efficient, real-time operating system designed for embedded systems without mechanical HDD limitations.To expand storage capability, the UNO-2053E allows for an internal 2.5-inch HDD using Advantech’s UNO HDD extension kit.This can be used for large data back-up requirements and popular OS installations such as Microsoft Windows and Linux.

Other features include onboard GX533-400 MHz CPU, 256 MB DDRRAM; one DB-15 VGA connector; two 10/100 Base-T RJ-45 ports; audio with mic in, line in, line out; Windows XP Embedded SP2 ready solution; Embedded Linux ready solution; and Windows CE 5.0 ready solution.

The UNO-2053E is an embedded application-ready platform that can shorten development time and offer networking interfaces to fulfill diverse requirements.
