Zweave PLM solution scores big on software benchmarking site

12/23/2008

WhichPLM is a product life-cycle management (PLM) vendor comparison Web site designed to save apparel and retail customers time and money selecting a PLM solution. Zweave is one of a handful of companies that have self-selected WhichPLM to do a thorough benchmarking of its PLM software—called Zdesign—for the apparel industry.
“WhichPLM’s unique scoring process is used to evaluate the PLM solutions on the market, and we think we have the best product out there” says David Buck, CIO, Zweave. “Using a comprehensive list of more than 650 questions, Which PLM experts drive out answers on the commercial, functional, technical, implementation, and support aspects of the solution across a broad range of business processes—from trend to delivery. These results will give customers a broader picture of what solutions can do, and enable them to match a PLM solution against their pre-defined requirements. This very process will give customers accurate information on PLM suppliers, and we think customers need guidance in this space to make educated decisions.”
