Software detects problems before they show up as an operator alarm, avoiding shutdowns. Alerts can be set up from a desktop browser. Product includes a browser alert summary window to show which alerts are outstanding for which user, ensuring that no alert is overlooked. Alerts remain active until the underlying problem is diagnosed and fixed. A browser-based log is maintained of when alerts occurred and when conditions returned to normal.
