Model 786F general-purpose accelerometer with integral cable is suited for submerged, high-temperature, or other harsh environments where use of a connector might introduce contaminants to the sensor. It is hermetically sealed and rated to 100 psi to permit installations in up to 200 ft of water. Teflon-jacketed cable withstands temperatures up to 150 °C. Applications include measur-ing vibration on the submerged end of vertical pumps, in harsh chemical environments, and in applications where frequent machine wash downs are needed.
