iGear GearBox aims to ensure product quality, products shipped in sequence, and customer satisfaction. The add-on device provides a non-intrusive approach to transferring data between shop floor and business systems to optimize plant performance. It also can be used for data collection and to build products to a broadcast or schedule. It prevents process errors from occurring, provides real-time operator guidance with step-by-step instructions, and stops defective products from advancing downstream. It creates a permanent audit trail of the manufacturing process to document quality and provides a means of collecting and sharing pertinent performance data.
GearBox is non-intrusive so does not void equipment warranties. It’s modular in configuration for flexible and quick connectivity to a wide range of technologies and systems. Built-in application libraries make it simple to install and quick to deploy. Visual Alert System gives immediate operator feedback through stack lights and message displays.
