PAS releases Operator Alert, a Web or Microsoft Windows interface for creating and editing alerts for process operations.
Houston, TX— PAS, a supplier of software products and engineering consulting services for the process industries, has released Operator Alert , a Web interface for creating and editing alerts for managing process operations. Alerts can be based on process conditions or timers.
The new tool works in conjunction with AMO-Rt, the company’s real-time alarm and event management software suite, which provides alarm and event data collection and analysis, performance metrics, documentation and rationalization, state-based alarm handling, flood suppression, and alarm shelving.
PAS , established in 1993, also provides automation configuration management, control loop performance monitoring, real-time performance metrics management, and knowledge management tools. More information is available through the PAS blog .
