11,000 manufacturers to seek understanding at Automation Fair 2001

Atlanta, Ga. – More than 11,000 manufacturers are registered and expected to seek learning experiences and solutions to manufacturing problems at Rockwell Automation’s Automation Fair 2001, Nov. 14-15, at the Georgia World Congress Center. The event’s ‘Complete Automation University’ will feature technical sessions, hands-on labs, and exhibits of the latest solutions to help manufacturers manage productivity, speed time to market, and lower total costs.

‘Considering current economic indicators, manufacturers are making fewer capital investments, and instead are seeking new ways to reduce costs and increase reliability of their existing automation systems,’ says Keith Nosbusch, Rockwell’s president for Control Systems. ‘They are looking for meaningful, educational and content-rich events like Automation Fair to help them find ways to optimize their manufacturing operations.’

Besides more than 75 technical sessions and hands-on labs, Automation Fair will exhibit the latest technologies, solutions and services from Rockwell Automation. The company’s participating Encompass partners and Solution Providers also will demonstrate how Rockwell Automation can seamlessly integrate third-party peripheral equipment into its automation architecture, providing more complete solutions to address a wider range of manufacturing needs.
