New Ulm, Minn. —MaxPlus 12-in. brushless servo motor delivers up to 90 hp or up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque for high-production, high-torque applications. It is intended for very large machinery applications where the size and weight of conventional motors have made automation prohibitive. The motor and drive are said to replace either vector drives or servo motors with gear boxes, providing simplicity, reliability, and higher performance. Standard features include resolvers for position and velocity feedback, IP-65 sealing for washdown environments, and MS connector termination or pipe-thread PCB termination.
