Why Kevin is an Engineering Leader

Chengyu (Kevin) Wang is a digital transformation engineer. He has been instrumental in guiding Yokogawa’s clients to help them achieve sustainability, digital transformation and improved safety. His work has been a central part of Yokogawa’s mission to make a difference for a better society and set the company on the path to a future where humanity and planet Earth can live together in symbiotic harmony. He has worked on some of the biggest projects in the industry and successfully added value. Kevin is also contributing to the Exxon Mobile Open Process Automation field trial leading into the next generation of automation.

Why Kevin chose this career

Kevin was positively influenced by his parents as they are both former engineers. “Being an engineer requires a lots of skills like leadership, innovation, communication, programming, mechanical knowledge, flexibility and so on, so lots of varieties to work on and I never get bored,” said Kevin.
