28-axis controller

New Ulm, Minn. —Menu-driven programming software allows MotionPlus XDC 720 motion controller to control up to 28 axes of motion. Simple indexing moves to complex camming motion can be done. Tuning is done directly from the tuning window of the programming software using PID loop tuning algorithms. The panel-mounted controller has 56 bidirectional I/O points, four high-speed sensor inputs, and two serial ports. Feedback from analog devices, absolute or incremental encoders, or Temposonics sensors is done through removable, plug-in modules. XDC 720 supports up to seven modules. Custom Servo Motors Inc.
