ABB appoints Joseph Hogan as CEO; starts Sept. 1
ABB Ltd. announced today it appointed Joseph M. Hogan as chief executive officer of the ABB Group. Hogan starts on Sept. 1.
Zurich, Switzerland – The board of directors of ABB Ltd. appointed Joseph M. Hogan as chief executive officer of the ABB Group, the company announced on July 17.
Hogan is currently CEO of GE Healthcare, which ABB calls “the global leader in medical diagnostic technology and biosciences.” Hogan also is a member of the GE senior executive council. He will join ABB on Sept. 1, 2008.
Michel Demare, ABB’s chief financial officer, who has held the CEO position on an ad-interim basis since Feb. 13, 2008, when Fred Kindle left ABB , will continue to serve as ABB’s chief financial officer.
