PA4600-BB entry/exit access guarding device features “one-box” design with an operating range up to 8 m and response time as low as 16 ms. Low-cost solution for protecting equipment openings to hazardous applications uses two beams spaced 500 mm (19. 6 in.) or 600 mm (23.6 in.) apart to provide torso detection. Device consists of an “active” unit of electronic assemblies, and a “passive” unit of mirror assemblies. Front panel access to the selector switches lets users modify configurations as needed. Separate scan codes eliminate cross talk with adjacent systems. LED status indicators and numeric displays offer streamlined diagnostic capabilities.
