AP-5181 Access Point from Symbol Technologies Inc. is an enterprise-class access point designed to extend corporate networks securely and cost-effectively beyond office walls and withstand harsh outdoor environments to provide real-time access for mobile workers. Developed especially for outdoor use, AP-5181 withstands wind, rain, lightning, extreme temperatures, and power surges. Optional heavy-weather mounting kit protects against windblown debris to 130 mph. Dual-radio product is mesh-capable, allowing for the creation of self-assembling, self-healing, flexible outdoor wireless networks that can be managed remotely with the company’s wireless next generation (Wi-NG) architecture.
